The Film

In summer of 2025, Haíɫzaqv filmmaker Tévan Wilson of Dúqvḷá Media created a short documentary about Haíɫzaqv wolves, and the Haíɫzaqv Wolf and Biodiversity Project’s work with them. In addition to interviews, he joined the field crew as they checked monitoring sights and collected scats, with support from Working Dogs for Conservation. This film describes the project, the relationship with wolves in the territory, and highlights footage from across the territory.

Tévan has also created a short summary video of the broader documentary, as well as a video describing the recent reporting of tool use in wolves here.
